What’s Included in Dry Vent Cleaning

Dryer Vent Cleaning Procedure

Preparation & Disconnection

The technician will unplug the dryer and locate both the vent connection at the back of the dryer and the exhaust vent on the home’s exterior.
If the dryer is gas-powered, the supply valves will be turned off.
The dryer will be pulled about one foot away from the wall to allow proper access and complete cleaning.

Lint Removal (Initial Stage)

While wearing safety gloves, the technician will manually remove any visible lint from the vent opening.
A powerful vacuum (or shop vac) with a hose attachment will then be used to extract remaining lint and debris
